Metallic Flushmount Ready to hang Pictures!

I love metallic flushmounts prints. They are vibrant and you can't help but look at it. I think everyone who has had a portrait session with me, or I shot their wedding, or their daughters wedding, everyone should have one of these in their home. A metallic flushmount, is a metallic print mounted onto a lightweight board with faux wood finish, so the side is smooth to touch, comes in black, light wood or silver. It is a very finished look similar to that of the wood mounts and canvas wraps, but at a slightly less cost, and with a little more shine to it.

For an image that brings you joy to look at, I firmly believe have a large (16x24) print in your home. I am blogging about various options to bring such things into your home, so all you have to do is unwrap your photo order package and hang on the wall.

Layflat Wedding Album with Pearl Paper

This is a sample of a wedding album I offer, that is the same design as other more formal albums I carry. It is an excellent alternative to a more formal album. You get the same great design, same number of images. The print quality is equally as good, the paper stock is heavy duty and awesome to touch, and the binding is excellent. This album has a photo front cover, which I love. I like to keep binding material on the back because often that is the part of the book that will show wear and tear and rarely does one set a wedding album face down. The album featured is 8x10 in dimension, has (approx) 50 images, and is the "standard wedding album photo book". Click here for pricing.

Meredith & Jared's Engagement Shoot in Brooklyn

On September 11 I traveled to New York City to photograph [my] couple Meredith & Jared. Thoughts of 9-11 went through my mind as I flew into the city. It was the best day for our schedule, and we thought hey why not! It happened to be the best day to travel because the city felt very calm and vacant. Well from Laguardia to Brooklyn. I didn't even bother trying to get into the city. I spent the morning with my old highschool friend Jose, and I will post a few images from our sock dude~ouir shoot, but the purpose of the trip was to capture the awesomeness which is the dynamic of Meredith & Jared. What they call, Jaredith. Meredith lives blocks from where I used to live in Prospect Heights, so when we walked to Prospect Park to keep shooting I was also walking down Memory Lane. This last shot walk through Grand Army plaza, may times I walked home this same way. The day couldn't have been better, and good to be in the middle of their love with my nikon. Plus I think Meredith is smokin' in front of the camera.

First Shoot of 2012: Snow Bunny Zumbathon Promo Pictures!!

The very first shoot of 2012 happened this very morning in my barn with 50 degree weather. Casco Bay YMCA Zumba instructor Kelly Newell needed images to promote the annual  scholarship fundraiser Zumbathon, which this year will be held in the airnasium, theme: SNOW BUNNY.  After cleaning up up the disaster in the barn from Tuesday nights storm blowing through the place, I rigged up some lighting, and Kelly put on her best Snow Bunny attire, and the party began!
We better see you at the Casco Bay Y, Saturday February 4, 6pm!!! Bring your dancing snow pants and jingle skirts :)
