Bride Portraits, Candid and Camera Aware
It is amazing the gamut of images I can get from a bride.
I like how quickly Megan's face changed in the car, from the I am hot and thirsty back here in the
back seat Sharyn, to pure happiness. The pausing of investigating the car. Feeling the emotions of a
lost brother whose presence was there on her wedding day, to getting away from it all with her
frisky dog Hallie. This is why I enjoy what I do.

Nighttime Portraits
I wish I could take pictures like this for the people who hire me to photograph their kids. A colabarative effort for images, not knowing exactly the outcome. The surprise is the magic. And I think this depicts my Lucia and where we live in many words.

Karen and Ray, a Quaker Wedding
Karen and Ray. A wedding that has been slowly, patiently waiting to happen. I photographed Karen's younger son a few years ago, and now had the opportunity to photograph hers. How awesome is that.
To not give up on love, feeling and living. And maybe I think there are some, that understand that better with time. Maybe in youngness we get overwhelmed easier, walk away from love easier.
Maybe do not have the patience. Ray waited all his life to marry Karen, and said so many times on their wedding day. Not during the ceremony out loud, but later on.
I love the last shot. The joy radiating from these two before their reception is awesome.
